REZONING CASE #23-02-PLBD-00037 (831 LANCELOT DR PLEASANT GARDEN, NC 27313):  AG, AGRICULTURAL and RS-40, SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL to AG, AGRICULTURAL

The Pleasant Garden Planning Board will hold a public hearing on a request to rezone property located at 831 Lancelot Drive, Tax Parcel 135636, at the terminus of Lancelot Drive, comprising approximately 16 acres, from AG and RS-40 to AG. Said hearing will be held at the Kirkman Municipal Building, 4920 Alliance Church Road, Pleasant Garden NC.

The proposed rezoning is inconsistent with the Future Land Use Map recommendation of Medium Density Residential in the Pleasant Garden Comprehensive Land Use Plan; thus, if approved a plan amendment to Low Density Residential & Farmland would be required.

During the hearing, citizens will have an opportunity to comment on the request. After the hearing, the Planning Board will forward its recommendation to the Pleasant Garden Town Council for a final decision. For more information please call the Guilford County Planning Department at 336-641-3578.
